These professional artists, represented by galleries internationally, join together to share marketing and networking. The Artists of Texas website lists artists alphabetically as well by city and many artists post on the associated blog, www.artistsoftexas.blogspot.com and/or on the sister site www.dailypaintersoftexas.blogspot.com
Laurie Pace, founder and Webmaster says, “The talent of our Artists of Texas is both diverse and deep. The incredible experience of marketing and sharing in this professional journey is boundless. It is an honor to be a part of this professionally committed artistic fraternity. We are in our second year of collectively showing and marketing together; working with the American Art Collector and Western Art Collector has made it possible to meet the needs of our individual artists. All of us are volunteers that coordinate things, but it is the heart of the group, the artists that make it work.”
The up-coming show titled “Where Texas Finds It’s Color” will be held at the Dutch Art Gallery in Dallas, TX where it was held last year and will feature 45 artists from over 30 different cities in Texas. Each artist will be exhibiting up to seven pieces each, which will be available for purchase.
Pam Massar, Gallery Owners says,
“The Dutch Art Gallery is delighted again this year to represent the Artists of Texas Show.
Representing this group of artists has offered variety and the expansion of contemporary art in our Gallery and neighborhood. Welcoming new talented artists who have creative visions and feelings, which is expressed in their art. We look forward to another successful show this fall!"
